Rendering a btSoftBody looks like hard work

Reading this old thread about how to extract the state of a btSoftBody for rendering, it looks, well, a bit of a pain. Is manually traversing the face list still the way to do it, or is there a helper class along the lines of btMotionState now?

I know, it's character building. I'm just lazy :wink:
