It would be nice to have particles indeed (CPU or GPU accelerated), but the wishlist is long, and evolves:
- support/hook up all quickstep/ode constraints, motors, limits
- optimize Bullet so it becomes more competitive with Ageia PhysX etc.
- cloth, fluids simulation
- deformable/breakable objects
- featherstone constraints
- better vehicle and character controller
