Hi all,
I have finally added Ogre Terrain to my shooter and have converted it to bullet as well. Now I notice that I hardly receive collision events between my player (represented by a sphere in bullet) and the heightfield. Only every once in a while the heightfield seems to notice a collision. The debug drawer shows that the bullet shape and the Oger terrain overlap perfectly. I experienced that the behavior changes if I alter the distances between the vertices or the height in the terrain but have not yet found a way to produce stable collision effects. Is this expected behavior? What can I do to improve my performance?
