Hi friends!
How can I create a COLLADA file with physic properties from 3Ds MAX? I mean, add friction, mass, hull.... that kind of parameters.
I ask you this question because I read Bullet may load COLLADA files.
Thanks a lot.

Re: COLLADA file from 3DS MAX with physic properties?
We are currently not supporting 3ds max export, we have tools for Blender, Maya and there are integrations with Cinema 4D and Lightwave.
The best bet for 3ds max is using https://sourceforge.net/projects/physxplugin, although the project is discontinued it is open source.
Alternatively, use the Havok tools for 3ds max and use hkx2dae.
Note that we are using the .bullet format from Bullet 2.76 onwards. It would be nice to modify the physxplugin to export the .bullet format directly.
Thanks,
Erwin

Are you planning to support MAX in the future?
By the way, let's say I change to Maya or Cinema 4D, what can I expect? do your plugins export physics from these programs to Bullet? Or where can I read more about this?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Re: COLLADA file from 3DS MAX with physic properties?
We have no plans with 3ds max, but we are happy to accept contributions in this area.
The latest Dynamica Maya plugin already exports to the new .bullet format, you can download all versions here.
We hope Cinema4D, Lightwave and Blender will also support the .bullet format natively in the future.
Also, we are working on a basic standalone physics editor for Windows and Mac OSX that supports the .bullet format. See http://3d-editor-toolkit.googlecode.com/
Thanks,
Erwin
