Softbody Tearing?
I have read all over the forums that Bullet softbodies have tearing ability but I did not see in the manual or code how to enable that or set a threshold for it.

A few of the cloth demos in the Bullet/Demos/SoftBodyDemo can tear parts of it, by clicking on the cloth.
(not based on threshold, just programatically).
Note you can toggle to the next demo using the [ and ] keys.
