Scene editor for Bullet

Post by josemarin »

Hi,

Is there any (even simple) scene editor for Bullet?

Where I could create some bodies, joints and simulate.

Thanks

The best bet right now is Blender, it has Bullet integrated and allows to setup collision shapes, rigid body and constraints, as well as run the simulation.
There are some books on how to use Bullet inside Blender with examples, such as 'bounce, tumble and splash' by Tony Mullen.

The Dynamica Maya plugin can do the same, except for constraint support (it is work-in-progress).
What kind of editor do you have in mind? Which platform?
Thanks,
Erwin

I only need to be able to create some primitives (boxes, spheres,...) set some properties (mass, materials), maybe create some joints, and start the simulation.

By the way, it would be possible to get a copy of your Open Physics Editor?

Even if you would think it isn't complete, yet, it would be nice to test some simulations...

Thanks!
