Objects go trough each other at high speeds

Hello,

I'm faced with this problem. I have a moving disc (cylinder shape) with a diameter of 4.0f and height of 2.0 colliding with another one of the same size. When the length of the linear velocity is over 150 for each and going against each other, sometimes, they overlap each other and get stuck together. They are restricted in motion on Y axis and also restricted to rotate against X and Z axis, basically I only allow them to slide on the ground.

I'd really not want to restrict linear velocity going over 150, but how can I prevent the discs from getting stuck together?
