I'm trying to get my head around all this and having some trouble.
Whilst I have got linearvelocity working, how do I dampen it?, I don't wish my character to glide but to stop immediately on release of the joypad.
Also, how do I get direction or angle from this?, so that I can face the player the direction they are moving.
And finally (!!!) how do I get bullet to angle a mesh relative to the floor mesh i.e. so it 'tips' as though going up/down a mesh.
Any simplified help
