Dear All,
How does Bullet model volume of a model created from triangular surface elements not from tetrahedral elements? I was inspecting some demos such as SoftBody Pressure and SoftBody Cluster Combine, I saw that some constraints were supplied to the engine such as Volume stiffness coefficient, Volume conversation coefficient and Pressure coefficient. How do these coeffs effect the overall simulation. Is there any docs or reference sites that I can study the mathematical aspects or should I study directly from code?
Regards,
Ugras

Re: Bullet_SoftBody_Volume Model Question
Any answers?
I just want to learn how volume conservation and prevention of volume inversion is established in Bullet using mass-spring net in Bullet?

Ugras

Re: Bullet_SoftBody_Volume Model Question
Hi!
Did you get some results in the meantime? I currently try to change tetrahedral mesh topology, but can't find the problem why it doesn't work... My goal is to cut a tetrahedral mesh but keep its volume...
Would be nice if you could post some of your results, my Questions in this forum don't get answered too...
Bye

Re: Bullet_SoftBody_Volume Model Question
Hi,
I've just learnt a related book named "Computational Granular Dynamics". I'll try to find the answers there. Currently I'm working on the soft body related engine code and try to see the results corresponding to my changes.
Regards,
Ugras
