Circular movinent

Post by Bruno Duarte »

I was trying to make a litle box make a circular moviment but i realise that when i aplied the impulse in it i have to make it perpendicular and tangent to the box and not just aplied one force in x and other in y, can anybody help me to refence the force to the box, to make it always perpendicular and tangent as it should be ?

i don't make idea of how will i do that

Is this for a free body in space (without gravity), or due to friction?

If you think it is friction related, please try out the Bullet 2.62 preview and see if that helps. This preview of 2.63 has a friction model change/improvement.

Otherwise, can you explain the issue more in detail, or create a modified demo to show the behaviour?
Thanks,
