Meaning of physical coefficients

Hi all,

I am trying to create a pool game using Bullet. Everything works fine - Bullet is a great thing!
But one small problem. I can't make it looks realistic.

I tried to tune coefficient for balls and table like: friction, rolling friction, restitution, linear & angular damping etc.
I spent a lot of time for this but anyway it does not look like real pool.
May be I don't understand real meaning of this coefficients?
Could you please tell me, where I can read about this? How Bullet uses it? How they work?
