Vehicle with btHingeConstraints

Hi, I have a multi-wheel vehicle using bthingeconstraints to connect the wheels to chassis. To move the vehicle I've been trying to use the call enableAngularMotor
to move the wheels. While this does move the vehicle I'm having trouble controlling the speed via throttle. Is their a better way to do this?
Has anyone else done this?
