Unable to roll debug visualizer camera

It looks like the debug visualizer camera can only be reoriented using pitch and yaw angles - is there any way to set its roll angle, e.g. by supplying an orientation quaternion or rotation matrix? That would be really handy for simulating the viewpoint of a camera attached to a body with a full 6 degrees of freedom, for user interaction studies involving real time simulation.
