I'm playing with Bullet at the moment, but I was wondering what the best workflow for creating buildings etc out of bricks (like all the lovely vids on the topic) for destruction is?
Getting models made out of bricks that don't fall down or intersect before running the sim is strangely unwieldly and I was wondering how people go about it...

I'm not using Maya, but I've found that using a larger scale seems to help with stacking stability. I'm currently using bricks that are 1 unit thick, 2 units wide, and 4 units long, and it's working decently.

Be careful when you modeling the bricks, because if you scale the boxes with scale manipulator, you have to freeze scale transforms before convert to rigid bodies.
Im working with real scales (bricks of 30 cm x 10 cm) and I dont have any problems with stability.
Send your scene for check it.

Cheers for all that.
Can anyone reccomend scripts/methods for speeding up brick-based modelling?
Cheers.
