Limit of force

Hi, all.

Is it possible to set the limit of force? I'm meaning that there is any rigid body, that the user will be controlling it by applyCentralForce. Can I limit (set the max) force? For example, by tapping on button "W" the object receives the appCentralForce(5,0,0); And I want the rigid body to not move faster than X.
