Game Engine Gems submission period still open

Post by Eric Lengyel »

There are still some time left to submit proposals for articles to appear in the new book Game Engine Gems, published by Jones and Bartlett and edited by yours truly. Proposals can be submitted at the following website:

http://www.gameenginegems.net/

We need more submissions involving physics, but we are generally looking for articles that pretty much have anything to do with game engine development or maintenance. Some other example subject areas are rendering, scene organization, visibility determination, math, collision detection, audio, AI, resource organization, user interface, and so on. Articles should generally be short and sweet, focus on a single problem, and present a solution that has been proven in the real world. Even a quick three-page article about a useful trick would be a perfect fit for the book.

Of course, all authors will receive royalties for their hard work! Please feel free to pass this message along to anyone who might be interested.
