Maya plug-in Tips and Help [edited]

Post by cannabiano »

Hello all

I'm new to bullet and dynamica and i appreciate if any of you guys could help me.
first of all, its possible to make simulations with particles without an script ? Like shatter walls and stuff ?

i'm looking into the basics and there is a way to control the bounciness of an object ?
i tought at first that dynamica was too like the one built in maya (Dynamics) but i guess i'm extremely wrong.

And, things like Maya smoke and fluids, its possible to simulate using Bullet Dynamica ?
Hope any of you guys can help me out.

Thanks.

Dynamica can convert any mesh shapes into rigid bodies. Thus, you can use shatter scripts, cut geometry manually, or use primitive shapes.

Properties such as bounciness can be controlled (or keyed) on the rigid body nodes - check the Attribute Editor or Channel Box.

Dynamica is a rigid body simulation toolset - no smoke or fluid support.
