Softbody tearing and wieght painting

Hi,
Awesome Job your doing Erwin I think you have surpassed the expectations of most.
I was just wondering about wheather it is possible to make softbodies tear (there seams to be a vid of this happening in youtube) if the force is too much and if you can use wieght painting to affect the softbodies?
