Feature request: no collisions w\ objects on hidden layers

From what I can tell, if you have objects on layers which are hidden, objects on the visible layers will collide with them. It would be nice if anything on a hidden layer doesn't contribute to collisions, since that's an easy way of simplifying collision calculations without deleting or modifying objects.
