Re: NASA Tensegrity Robotics Toolkit

Moose, Sorry for the delay in replying - I've finally subscribed to this topic so I'll be a little more prompt in the future. We are aware of how disruptive the change would be, and it is therefore not a high priority at the moment. In the future, we may need the GPU pipeline to simulate extremely l...

Re: NASA Tensegrity Robotics Toolkit

Adam,

(Sounds like you got it working: https://github.com/NASA-Tensegrity-Robo ... /issues/85)

By default, we install Bullet 2.82 with our setup.sh script. If you're interested in helping us upgrade to Bullet 3, let us know!

NASA Tensegrity Robotics Toolkit

I am pleased to announce the open source release of the NASA Tensegrity Robotics Toolkit (NTRT), which uses Bullet 2.82 for physics. Tensegrity Robots are a biologically inspired approach to building robots based on the tension networks of tensegrity structures, which have no rigid connections betwe...

Re: [SOLVED]Quaterion to Matrix and back conversion issues

Kay, I am very interested in implementing this elastic rod model for the open source tensegrity robotics simulator I'm working on ( NTRT Project Page , Project on Github ). Is your Bullet or reference implementation available at this point? Even if I can pick up where you left off it would save some...

Re: Rope with heavy rigid body attached

All, I was noticing similar problems in my work. I didn't opt for Gaston's solution, since both of my bodies need to be active. I was not able to solve the problem completely (ie, the rope can still stretch past its rest length), but I did find that there was a vast improvement in stiffness using st...
