undefined symbol: _ZNK17btTypedConstraint9serializeEPvP12btS

This is the error when trying to load the mayaplugin.so file. No errors during compilation and it was compiled with gcc 4.1.2. Do anyone have some idea what could be wrong? Could maya somehow try to pick up the locally installed bullet_lib that is compiled with gcc 4.5? EDIT: Nevermind, I had totall...

You need to rewrite / modify the Dynamica plugin itself for that to work.

I got the same problem, when I hit rewind all the active rigidbodies are snapped to 0,0,0 coordinates :shock: Have you found the solution? also sometimes that happens right after I run EasyBake script. I'm using Maya 2010 I think the shooting outwards objects happens when the meshes are overlapping...

That youtube video is soooooooo much more than glue/strength/power. DMM uses FEM simulations (as used for soft bodys in bullet) for fractures. Glue/strength/power is currently supported by bullet and someone which understood the dynamica plugin code good could probably implement it in some hours. Fo...

Tried it out today. Works great. Not having to deal with keyframing mass is great and also the bake works much better than the one in RBDTools. With RBDTools my objects that where keyframed as inactive with mass where not moving when simulating but started jiggling in the baked sim for some reason....

Will try it out. Especially custom collision margin sounds nice. At the moment everything explodes very easy.
