What unit is setMaxLinMotorForce in?
I just played around a bit with setMaxLinMotorForce on a slider constraint, but I am not clear on what unit the motor force is in. I modeled a sliding door with a box blocking it, and with 10 (Newton?) it was enough to make the box jump from the doorframe instead of just blocking the door. Seems a b...

Re: Massive debug performance loss with composite shape
In a different scenario with less complex surrounding geometry, the framerate drops from 140 to 60, is this to be expected?

Massive debug performance loss with composite shape
I have a composite shape (a door) in a static concave triangle mesh. The composite mesh is made up from 9 convex hulls (BSP-brushes), in this case mostly rectangular boxes. When the object wakes up (turns cyan in debug view) in a Debug build, a massive performance drop occurs, from 64 fps down to 8 ...

Re: how to get objects to point up
It doesn't work in 2.74 anymore, its missing a few pure virtual functions from btTypedConstraint. Does anyone know how to fix this? empty functions don't work apparently. edit: I'm now using this: btGeneric6DofConstraint* c=new btGeneric6DofConstraint(*game.worldBody, *body, btTransform::getIdentity...

Bug in the character control demo [solved]
There seems to be a bug in the character control demo. To reproduce, shoot a sphere at the character body. You will get an error about an AABB overflow. Then place the character between the two boxes on the ground. The performance will drop significantly (see the unaccounted time) http://heeen.de/pr...
