Job Type: Full Time  <br>The Position:  <br>Field Application Engineer, Content Acquisition<br><br>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Ensure developers have all the technical information they need to include PhysX features in their game, and support them during creation and testing of those features.<br><br>DESCRIPTION: <br><br>?Consult in depth with game developers planning PhysX usage in their games.<br>?Advise developers on different application-level approaches to maximizing PhysX in their games<br>?Become AGEIA technical expert on key titles, including game architecture, tool chain, graphics engine, content creation process, and milestones<br>?Advocate internally for needed features, and provide all necessary technical data to product marketing and engineering<br>?Identify windows for technology change in a game?s development schedule, and cross-reference with AGEIA roadmap to determine possible PhysX features<br>?Build long-term relationship with key developer and publisher technical decision makers and influencers<br>?Utilize Parature support system to answer developer questions, create use cases, and resolve issues<br>?Reproduction of ?bugs? and logging them within TestTrackPro<br>?Log interactions with developers at a high level, and track MBOs using Salesforce<br>?Provide technical presentations and technology demos at trade shows and to prospects<br><br>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: <br>?4+ years of 3D graphics or game programming experience, including experience on a shipped product <br>?Ability to work with teams, interpret schedules, and negotiate milestones <br>?Robust C/C++ coding, debugging and testing skills <br>?Practical understanding of 3D graphics algorithms and mathematics <br>?Experience working with Direct3D and/or OpenGL <br>?Extensive knowledge with optimizing application runtimes for various 3D graphics pipelines <br>?Exemplary oral and written communication skills with experience addressing various audiences: technical, business, financial, project management<br>?Proven experience working as part of a cross-functional team<br>?Demonstrated consultative customer management skills, including expectation setting, collaborative problem resolution, selling of services/capabilities<br>?Established ability to take initiative to drive physics features in games<br>?Willingness to travel up to 2 weeks per month <br>?Conduct technical and business discussions in English<br><br>DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:<br><br>?Knowledge in physics simulation programming <br>?Knowledge of AGEIA technology, as well as competitive software and related videogame platforms<br>?Experience working as developer support engineer in related field (graphics, audio, compilers)<br>?Familiarity with advanced research in the field of simulation for computer graphics <br>?Ability to speak one or more European Languages<br><br>MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION: <br>BS/BA Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics<br>MS preferred<br><br><br>Contact Info: <br><a href="http://www.ageia.com" class="postlink">http://www.ageia.com</a> <br><br>Phone: 314-633-1808 <br>Fax: 314-633-1890 <br><br>E-mail: <a href="mailto:jobs@ageia.com">jobs@ageia.com</a><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="https://pybullet.org/Bullet/phpBB3/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=418">jobs</a> — Sun Feb 12, 2006 3:57 am</p><hr />
