Physics Programmer | Lucasfilm Singapore  | SGP | Full Time  <br><br>Division: Handheld Development Team<br>Job Location: Singapore<br>Reports To: Lead Engineer<br>Status: Full time staff position/ Full Benefits<br><br>Major Responsibilities: <br>• Successful applicants will perform Physics Programming for current and next generation console titles <br>• Provide technical expertise to develop games or technologies in support of games <br>• Reliably create good quality, performance-minded code. <br>• Provide a complete task list and schedule for responsible work. These should be complete and accurate<br>• Assist less experienced engineers with the creation of their task lists and schedules. Inform other when the schedule is at risk <br>• Assist in the sharing of ideas and exploration of new practices to continually improve the quality of software development for the Company <br>• Provide leadership and insight to help the team avoid and overcome obstacles as they arise during development <br>• Provide coaching skills to help develop less experienced engineers <br>• Maintain a professional attitude during all stages of development <br>• Excel as a team member and strive to maximize team and departmental performance <br><br>Qualifications: <br>• 3+ years experience in the creation and delivery of state-of-the-art, performance-minded games required <br>• Strong physics and math skills <br>• C/C++ experience required<br>• Preferred experience in working with articulated bodies and/or physical animation<br>• Preferred experience with third party physics engines: Havok, Ipion, Karma, Meqon, Novodex, ODE, etc.<br>• Preferred experience in developing in-house / proprietary physics engines<br>• Shipped multiple titles on target or related platforms <br>• Ability to work independently and to be self-directing required <br>• Excellent team and communication skills required<br>• B.Sc.
